It’s true! Zara Phillips, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, is set to carry the Olympic torch!
She’ll do it while riding a horse that nearly helped her win a berth for the Beijing Olympics — a horse’s named Toytown, if you were curious!
During her carry, she actually gets to light a cauldron signaling the end of the fifth day of the 70 day relay!
The 31-year-old daughter of Princess Anne is trying to land a berth on new horse, High Kingdom, in Britain’s 2012 London Olympics team — and we hope she gets to go this year!
Unfortunately, Toytown was injured the last time around!
Good luck, Zara!
