Quentin Tarantino Once Claimed Roman Polanski's 13-Year-Old Sexual Assault Victim 'Wanted To Have It'!

Quentin Tarantino‘s publicist must be working 24/7 right now.
Amid Uma Thurman‘s distressing confession that she was bullied into doing a stunt on Kill Bill which left her with a long-lasting bodily injury, a 2003 interview with Howard Stern has since resurfaced, painting the celebrated director as a monster. Specifically, while discussing Roman Polanski‘s sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl, Tarantino claimed the victim “wanted to have it.”

What an awful thing to say. In an attempt to downplay his peer’s rape scandal, Quentin told Stern at the time:

“She wanted to have it… He didn’t rape a 13-year-old. It was statutory rape. That’s not quite the same thing. … He had sex with a minor, all right. That’s not rape. To me, when you use the word rape, you’re talking about violent, throwing them down.”

Ummmm, that’s a disgustingly bold thing to say. Especially, since Roman’s victim was allegedly drugged prior to the assault.
The Pulp Fiction director added:

“Throwing the word ├óΓé¼╦£rape’ around is like throwing the word ‘racist’ around. It doesn’t apply to everything that people use it for.”

Oh, Quentin, noooooo. To make matters worse, when Stern’s cohost Robin Quivers tried to explain that the young woman did not want to have sex with Polanski and was possibly drugged, Tarantino didn’t backtrack his stance. He simply reiterated:

“She wanted to have it.”

Although, Tarantino DID acknowledge that if the assault happened against a daughter of his, he would’ve “beat the hell out of” Roman. However, the now 54-year-old accused the teenager of being “down to party with Roman.” Tsk, tsk.
Listen to the upsetting audio for yourself (below).

Polanski eventually pleaded guilty to unlawful sex with a minor, but fled the United States before he could be sentenced. We wonder if Tarantino has changed his stance amid the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements??
