A Michigan woman has come forward alleging she had a six-year sexual relationship with R. Kelly…
…when she was just 16 years old!
Danielle Williams, now 36, told WGN News her story Thursday evening, revealing yet another significant set of allegations against the disgraced R&B singer.

Williams says she was first given Kelly’s business card by the crooner’s manager at a Chicago restaurant in 1998.
The aspiring model soon met the man himself when she *skipped school* to go to his studio for what she thought was a music video audition.
Things didn’t quite go that way, though, as she recounted to the news outlet (below):
“He just told me to take off my clothes and we would proceed from there. When I got in the cab, I got an envelope with $1,000. I had never seen that amount of money in my life. I had no concept of getting paid for sexual acts. I didn’t think it applied to me, only for adults.”
“Only for adults.” Wow…
Their “relationship” progressed from there, including coming to a head at one point when the singer allegedly locked her in a hotel room for three days and, she claims, prevented her from leaving (below):
“I always felt like if I crossed him he would kill me. I just felt like he had the power to find me wherever I was.”
But after several years of escalating behavior, as Williams entered her early 20s, she says the R&B singer slowly began to lose interest (below):
“As I grew older, he lost interest in me. So I know that he’s a pedophile. I think that he should go to jail and the victims should get some type of restitution. Because the trajectory of my life changed at that moment. Nothing has ever been the same.”
Now, Williams didn’t just go to a news station to tell this story; per reports, she has also reached out to Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx about the statute of limitations on some of these allegations, and whether she can press charges against the singer.
As of the time this story aired on WGN, Kelly’s legal team had not commented — though they’ve certainly been very vocally denying quite a lot about the R&B singer’s alleged past.
Regardless, this marks one more very serious allegation of sexual misconduct against the singer. Scary!
