A father, who believes his daughter is being held captive by R. Kelly, says he was threatened by the singer’s manager.
According to a Georgia police report first obtained by CBS 46, Timothy Savage (pictured above, insert) says he received a series of harassing texts and phone calls from Don Russell because he participated in the docuseries Surviving R. Kelly where he spoke about his daughter Jocelyn.

On January 3, before the show premiered, Timothy called police shortly after 5 a.m. so authorities could hear a phone conversation between him and Russell.
According to the report:

“Don says several times that Timothy is providing Lifetime with false information, and that he continues supporting the documentary that they (R. Kelly / Don) would be forced to release information disproving Don… Don advised Timothy that the information would ruin him, his reputation, business and family, because it would show him a liar.”

Timothy previously filed a police report against fellow Kelly manager James Mason, who also allegedly threatened him.
The Savage family first spoke to Buzzfeed in 2017 about their daughter’s alleged involvement in the musician’s alleged sex cult.
Timothy and wife Jonelyn have been trying for years to get back Jocelyn, who allegedly ran off to be with Kelly after meeting him backstage at a concert when she was reportedly only 17.
Both Kelly and Jocelyn deny she is being held against her will. The singer has also denied all allegations of sexual misconduct.
