Just yesterday, Rachel Canning lost a controversial legal battle with her parents when she tried to sue them for college tuition and claimed they kicked her out of the house as soon as she turned 18!
Well it turns out there’s a whole lot more to the story than she originally led us to believe!
Over the past couple of weeks, Rachel has been staying at her best friend’s house, whose father just so happens to be her lawyer Jon Inglesino! Well her parents aren’t too happy about that, and not just because he decided to fund her legal action, but because they say his family is a horrible influence on her and has given her alcohol in the past!
Her father, Sean Canning opened up about his previous experiences with the Inglesino family, and it did NOT sound too good:
“The Inglesino household, according to Rachel in the past, is more lenient. She would often tell us how the Inglesino parents would allow alcoholic parties to be held at their house. Rachel was angry because we would not host an alcoholic party. Rachel├óΓé¼Γäós first time drinking alcohol was at the Inglesino house, in March of 2011 and on other occasions including their daughter├óΓé¼Γäós 15th birthday where they have freely provided alcohol. Rachel came home bragging saying that during the limo ride to NY, Mrs Inglesino gave all the girls wine coolers to drink. This type of behavior we did not condone.”
We don’t blame him!
Sean also recounted a time when he picked Rachel up from the Inglesino household after a sleepover, and she was so hungover she threw up on the sidewalk when he dropped her off for a basketball game!
Rachel has made bold claims that her parents are both physically and verbally abusive. However, a voicemail she left for her mother Elizabeth was played in court in which she says “I wanna sh*t all over your face.”
Wow! It seems to us like Rachel’s relationship with her parents is a lot worse than we realized, and we’re sure this legal battle isn’t going to help much!
