It’s sad to see a family get torn apart, but at least the kids went to the parent who cared enough to show up…
Rachel Roy and her ex-husband Damon Dash had been in a heated custody battle after both sides accused the other of being unfit parents.
Damon claimed that the fashion designer once drove drunk with a child in the car, whereas Rachel claimed her ex openly smoked marijuana in front of their daughters.
The couple had been maried from 2005 to 2009, but Rachel was finally awarded custody of Ava, 15, and Tallulah, 6, on Monday.

Apparently, Damon didn’t even show up to hearing, so we’re assuming that just solidified the judge’s decision in the matter.
Damon was granted supervised visitation rights of the two girls, but Rachel also landed a restraining order against her ex, so we’re not exactly sure how those visits are going to be orchestrated.
