Looks like this one has ALREADY gotten messy!
To recap, Gloria Allred negotiated a $10 million settlement for Tiger Woods‘ alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel, which went through mere HOURS before Uchitel was going to hold a “tell-all news conference” about the golf star.
According to the settlement, Rachel was NOT allowed to speak about Tiger, and if she did she’d have to return the money…and Tiger would be able to sue her for damages.
Sources say that Tiger’s lawyer Jay Lavely contacted Gloria Allred about the settlement, demanding that Rachel return the money for indirectly talking about Tiger on TV and during interviews.
Rachel has returned the money, but is now suing Allred, who she thinks sold her out by making a deal with Tiger’s lawyer to ensure that she kept all of her attorney’s fees.
Gloria has, of course, denied all of these claims against her.
We hate to say it, Rachel, but we’re thinking it’s going to be a HUGE uphill battle to win a lawsuit against Gloria Allred. Might be better off leaving this all behind and moving forward with your P.I. plans…
