Before he was a Mad man stealing the hearts of women viewers everywhere, he was just Mr. Jon Hamm of St. Louis teaching drama at John Burroughs High School.
Ironically enough, one of his students actually ended up in the industry right along side him! (and on the same Thursday night line-up!)
Ellie Kemper, the new receptionist on The Office, recalls having the 30 Rock guest star as her high school drama teacher and rearranging her schedule so she could ogle him! Ellie says:
“He was a heartthrob! All the girls would sign up for his class├óΓé¼┬ªfor a good reason! In addition to being really handsome, he was an excellent teacher. He taught me drama work, mostly improvisation, which I did a lot of in college and in New York.”
Exciting? Anyone have a yearbook we can gaze at for hours?
