Diamonds are expensive. That’s a given.
And while most people want clear, flawless diamonds, it turns out a pink diamond has just become the most expensive diamond ever sold.
Sotheby’s Geneva set a new record with the sale of it’s rare Fancy Intense Pink Emerald-cut Diamond which weighed in at 24.78 Carats.
The ring, which was estimated to bring in about $27 million, actually sold for over $46,000,000!
The diamond was purchased over 60 years ago from Harry Winston and now belongs to British Billionaire jeweler Laurence Graff.
