Rare Wild Ass Born!

At Israel’s Ramat Gan Zoological Center a brand new baby Somali Wild Ass was born!
The Somali Wild Ass is very rare, so this was a big deal.
The foal was named Israela because she was born on Israel’s 64th Independence Day.
Little baybay Israela is a big deal because there are only 350 wild Asses running around Somalia.
There are even fewer Asses in captivity, at 130.
So it’s extra good to know that Israela is a happy and healthy Ass!
Congrats to Israel’s zoo on getting some Ass. LOLz!
