A rare copy of the first ever comic book with Superman has been sold for $1 million!
The 1938 edition of Action Comics No. 1 shows Superman lifting a car on the cover and at the time of printing cost a mere 10 cents! The private seller sold it to a private buyer via ComicConnect.com this morning.
The sale blows the previous comic book sale record out of the water beating the $317,000 that was paid for the exact same issue! But the $1 milllion dollar Superman issue was said to be in much better condition.
Oh, well that makes it such a reasonable purchase!
