Oh no! We bet that woman was more than sufficiently grossed out. Yuck!
A young woman in New York was sent to New York Downtown Hospital this week after she was biten by a rat. The fiend was hiding under a bench a the Chambers Street station, when the woman sat down wearing open toed shoes. Though most rats aren’t so bold, this one was either super hungry or hated her shoes because it scurried directly towards her right foot and bit her. A witness recalls:
├óΓé¼┼ôShe was crying ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ she was quite hysterical. She had a cut ├óΓé¼┬ª you could see the fresh blood.”
Ew! We can only imagine how frightened she was, how many diseases that critter was carrying.
The population surely has grown beyond manageable numbers, but that is why, more than ever, its important to keep the subways clean. These guys are attracted to the filth – so keep it off the J Train!
