It’s Ray J vs. Princess Love, round two? Three? We’re losing count…
On Thursday night, the Love & Hip Hop star FINALLY broke his silence on the ongoing drama with his pregnant wife, who said he abandoned her and their daughter Melody in Las Vegas after the Soul Train Awards over the weekend.
According to the 38-year-old, the claims against him are completely FALSE and he’s desperate to end this messy narrative about his family!

Instagram continues to be the place for the couple to air out their dirty laundry, so, Ray hopped on the platform to share a brand new video explaining his supposedly truthful side of the story.
The One Wish rapper began with a message to media outlets (ahem, we’re listening!), calling them out for making a circus of his current situation. He said:
“This is for all the media outlets out there that’s putting these stories about me. Let me explain something to y’all because I don’t think y’all understand who I really am. I am my family. I love my family. I’ve dedicated my life to my family. To insinuate that I would do anything to harm my daughter is just sad, man.”
Furthermore, Ray seemed to finally answer what we’ve all been wondering: where has he been this whole time??
“I’m at the Sky Loft if you can see. And I just don’t understand how somebody could get stranded if we never left. We been right here. You stay right there.”
So, they’ve been in the same city this entire time? Inneresting…
The reality TV star continued by directing the rest of the message to Princess, telling her she should not have taken their problems online in the first place!
“But to take this to social media and create this crazy story about me leaving my baby in harm’s way, is not cool. If we get into something big or small, we should be able to hug each other, love each other, and listen to each other and understand what we need to do to make it right.”
You know, Ray could just take his own advice and share all of this with his wife privately, too. Especially considering he blocked her on social media. After all, can she even see his post? But, we digress…
He then ended his message with an apology and a promise to work harder at keeping their brood together:
“I apologize for everything that’s happened, we supposed to be at the tightest and at the strongest. We have another baby coming in and these are not the things we’re supposed to do. The devil’s working, but he’s not working hard enough and he will never work hard enough because my family is something I will always die for.”

Wow. This certainly paints a different picture than the reports we’ve heard up to this point which insinuate Kim Kardashian West‘s ex hasn’t been around lately. And yet, in his caption, Ray seems to directly contradict himself! It reads:
“My heart has been heavy for the last past week. I miss my baby Melody so much it hurts! I’m so sorry the world has to watch a young relationship like ours fall down. In order to be solid in a relationship you have to keep people out of it and let God work it out. But this hasn’t been the case. I will continue being the best man and father I can be no matter what’s on the other side. Without respect there is nothing. Love took a L this time. ?”

The 35-year-old expectant momma seemed to pick up on the same thing we did in her man’s plea. Taking to her own IG story, she shared:
The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star also took to her Instagram Live to officially announce she “does not want to be married anymore” and explain how the couple’s marriage seemed to abruptly crumble.
Apparently, the real drama actually began about two weeks ago when Princess discovered a second phone her man had been keeping. She explained Ray admitted to her that he had been “entertaining some women,” which obviously didn’t go over well, but the pair agreed to table their discussion for after the award show.
Things reportedly got worse afterward, though, as their marital spat continued. Ray supposedly tried to ask his wife to relocate their family to Sin City indefinitely and their convo quickly got ugly with threats of divorce coming on both sides. She claimed he then stormed out and left them stranded after she refused his request.
