When someone you love passes away, there’s really nothing anyone can say to make it better. But unfortunately they can make it worse.
According to new reports, a cop at the scene of Whitney Houston‘s death made it a lot worse with some gross commentary.
A Beverly Hills police officer is claiming his sergeant pulled up the sheet covering Whitney’s pubic area and said:
“Damn, she’s still looking good, huh?”
Sources who were present say this wasn’t the only inappropriate humor tossed around by some of the responders. They say the comments and the laughter were enough to make Ray J, who was romantically involved with Whitney, see red!
According to witnesses, Ray went after the cops, trying to barrel his way past the perimeter to get at them, until he had to be removed from the scene!
We can’t condone attacking police, but we certainly understand Ray J’s raw emotion. That was someone he loved!
Obviously gallows humor is a part of coping with jobs that deal with death on the regular, but we hope this will remind responders to respect the dead and their families.
