There was no way to ignore this!
Real Housewives of New Jersey opened their new season last night, and viewers just knew they’d have to address Teresa and Joe Giudice‘s fraud conviction.
And boy did they ever!
The show opened with Tre’s headline-making story and court case as she denied recent gossip reports, and then the show flashed back to three months earlier, to when she hadn’t yet been convicted of fraud.
But the court case was still everywhere in the opening episode as Tre talked to Dina Manzo about the struggles they’re facing financially with legal bills.
The super heartbreaking part of all this, though, was watching their oldest daughter, Gia, deal with all the problems. She seems to be the only child old enough to comprehend what is going on, and it was terrible watching her cry throughout the first episode.
Even some serious sass from Miz Milania couldn’t stop us from hurting for Gia!
