We see books by reality stars everywhere…but are we actually buying them???
According to THR, we’re definitely buying Bethenny Frankel’s first two books, which in total sold 480,000 copies!
Despite Bethenny’s success, we’re NOT buying books by NeNe Leakes, Jill Zarin, and Danielle Staub, who all sold fewer than 10,000 copies! Yikes!
Teresa Giudice’s cookbook has fared better though, with 100,000 copies solid…but then we’ve got Snooki who only sold 35,000 copies and The Situation who sold 15,000 copies….
Ah well! Even if these reality-star-turned-authors lose shelf space at Barnes and Noble, they’ll always have a place at Rutgers University! Ha!
