Reba McEntire To Return To Broadway?

Fans get your tickets!
Because Reba McEntire might very well be making her way back to Broadway in a revival of Anything Goes for the Roundabout.
7 years ago, the country singer – with no prior Broadway experience – starred in a revival of Annie Get Your Gun. That was a huge $1 million a week phenomenon. Since revealing her magic touch, producers have been trying to hook Reba, but she’s been occupied with her (now cancelled) sitcom and her music career.
The production, which will most likely be directed by Kathleen Marshall of The Pajama Game, would probably cast Reba in the role of evangelist-turned-nightclub singer Reno Sweeney, allowing the singer to showcase her voice with numbers such as the musical’s title song.
Reba expressed having fun on Annie and that she would return.
Let’s hope they manage to bring her back!
