Rebecca Gayheart is speaking out about the death of her husband.
As you know, Eric Dane sadly passed away last week, leaving behind his estranged wife and their two daughters, Billie, 15, and Georgia, 14. He spoke at length about his wife and kids in his final interview Famous Last Words — and now Rebecca is finally addressing how she’s holding up.

In an Instagram Stories post on Sunday, the 54-year-old actress shared a sweet photo of a table adorned with some family photos, candles, and flowers. In the post, she wrote:
“I am so blown away by the outpouring of love and support from our community. There aren’t words to express our gratitude. You are truly holding us up during this difficult time.”

While Eric and Rebecca were separated, they consciously chose not to divorce following his diagnosis. Eric had a girlfriend, but he revealed during his final interview that he could love no one more than he loved Rebecca, saying:
“I will never, by the time anybody sees this, have fallen in love with another woman as deeply as I fell in love with Rebecca. She’s the mother of my children.”
