The Aussie actress was actually born Melanie Elizabeth Bownds, though she did change her last name to Wilson.
Melanie Elizabeth sounds like a nanny’s name, not a brassy and sassy comedienne’s.

So we can’t fault the Pitch Perfect 2 star for opting for something a little more kick-ass. And what’s more kick-ass than Rebel?
