Who knew laughs could be so life threatening???
Rebel Wilson has been hard at work on her new series, Super Fun Night, but had no idea the sitcom’s written stunts could create such an ouchie on her voluptuous bod!
The actress confessed the danger in her comedic process, for one scene specifically, where her skirt gets caught in an elevator door.
Rebs explained how the physical comedy went horribly wrong, leaving everyone a bit scared for the Aussie’s well-being:
“I was flung hard into the elevator door and then I was pulled up by my neck. I started to choke. All my clothes were torn off, and you could see my breasts and everything. I said, ├óΓé¼╦£Burn that tape.├óΓé¼Γäó Even for me, it was too much. I do not want to die for comedy.”
After the crew got a scary x-rated show, the Pitch Perfect star did what any dedicated crazy person would do, and tried the stunt again:
“I was brave enough to do it again…but this time the bit worked. It got very graphic, but in the end it was funny. Long after the show is forgotten, the joke will be remembered. And that├óΓé¼Γäós why I├óΓé¼Γäóm here.├óΓé¼┬¥
We have to commend Rebel for her tenacious nature, but girlfriend, no need to hurt yourself for a few laughs!
Now that’s what we call comedic commitment!
