Athletes and alcohol seem to be a bad combination.
Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis is accused of assaulting a woman at a DC club early this morning.
Davis allegedly approached a female at the club in an “aggressive” manner and grabbed her, at which point she threw a drink at him.
He retaliated by throwing a drink at her and then hitting her in the lip with something — the woman claims it was a champagne bottle.
No charges have been filed yet, and police will be reviewing security tapes to determine what happened.
If he really attacked her we hope the NFL fires him! Too many athletes get into trouble for this type of thing, and the NFL needs to make it clear that their athletes CANNOT do this anymore!
