It sounds like the folks at Reebok may have outdone her by announcing they will now be selling bacon! Because what goes better with shoes than bacon?!
For those of you who are wondering why Reebok would get down with the swine, it’s actually not as crazy as you might think!
The company decided to launch the campaign for CrossFit athletes who are on the Paleo diet, meaning they aren’t allowed to eat ANY processed food! But one treat they ARE allowed to indulge on is (you guessed it!), BACON!
Reebok has already sent around 74 boxes of pork to athletes in anticipation for the 2014 Reebok CrossFit Games taking place this weekend, and attendees can even hit up the Reebok Bacon Box food truck to try out goodies like bacon wrapped artichokes, bacon wrapped chorizo, and even bacon wrapped bacon!
OK, so we made that last one up. But you get the idea!
And the best part? All of their bacon is uncured and contains no nitrates, no preservatives, no MSG, and no sweeteners! We guess Reebok selling bacon isn’t such a bad idea after all!
