We still remember how sad we felt when we heard Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe were getting a divorce and admitted they were no longer the vibrant, happy couple they once were.
Of course, that was a long time ago and a lot has changed since then – including Reese’s recent marriage to her agent, Jim Toth. In light of her new union, Reese was asked to talk about her time with Ryan and if she regretted it at all. Thankfully, she confessed that her time with Ryan was very special to her and she wouldn’t have traded it for anything, but she did add that their age might’ve played a factor in why they didn’t work out. In a recent interview, she explained:
├óΓé¼┼ôOh, I was so, so young. I was, like, ridiculously young. I learnt a lot, though. It was a good opportunity for me to really find out what it means to be a partner and to be in a marriage and it├óΓé¼Γäós not anything that I thought it was.”
Well, maybe this time will be a bit easier. We know we want all the happiness in the world for you…and for Ryan. We’re glad you guys have at least stayed friends over the years.
