Reese Witherspoon and Taraji P. Henson made the cover with their respective makeup artists, while Lupita Nyong’o, Elizabeth Olsen, Dakota Johnson, and Kirsten Dunst appear inside.
The best part is all the awesome beauty advice!
Speaking of Nick Barose and Vernon Francois, Lupita says:
“I’ve learned tons of beauty tricks! For one, Nick taught me how to put on lipstick right ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ from the center out. Vernon taught me how to comb my hair, which is a very basic thing, but the trick of wetting my hair before combing has saved me from a lot of breakage.”
Reese credits her MUA Molly R. Stern with making her appreciate herself more:
“A few years ago, I was like, ├óΓé¼╦£I don’t like these lines on my face,’ and Molly goes, ├óΓé¼╦£Um, those are smile lines. Don’t feel bad about that.’ She makes me feel better about how I look and how I’m changing and makes me feel like aging is beautiful.”
Right on!
And Taraji’s makeup artist Ashunta Sheriff talks Cookie:
“Cookie is uninhibited, and that is giving women the courage to try new things. She isn’t afraid of the trends, whether it’s a dark plum or bright turquoise eye shadow. Cookie has a few lipstick colors and one basic lash, and we keep it like that because that works for her character. Taraji is many characters.”
