Seems that Regis Philbin isn’t ready to retire.
Even though Regis said, “Everything must come to an end for certain people on camera, especially certain old people,” when he announced his retirement on the air back in January, it seems that Regis can’t say goodbye to the cameras.
The daytime talk show host is reportedly in talks to move on to another daytime talk show when he leaves Live with Regis and Kelly in November.
He’s been in preliminary talks with syndicators such as Harpo and Sony to host a simliar talk show, but with more news coverage.
A source says that his co-host, “Kelly is p—ed.”
However, her rep denies that she’s upset about Regis moving on, saying, “I don’t know. I know she’s very supportive of whatever Regis does, so I would doubt the story.”
We’re glad Regis is thinking of staying on air. We weren’t ready to say “so long” to him just yet!
