Religious Leaders Back Pats, Not Tebow Next Week

Tebow Victory
For some reason, religious leaders are weighing in on sports — as if football has anything to do with religion what-so-ever.
Shockingly, they’re not behind self-proclaimed poster boy for God, Tim Tebow! SCANDALOUS!
Reverend Stephen Ayers from the Old North Church in Boston says:

“I’m not sure God is a huge football fan but Tim Tebow is more than welcome to come worship with us on Sunday morning … after hopefully losing to us.”

Because wishing people lose is super religious, you know!
Granted, the religious leaders interviewed were from New England, so, yeah. Come on. What do you expect?
It’s football. Why is this conversation even happening?
