It’s never easy saying goodbye to a loved one, even if we only knew them through our screens. This year, the world bid a final farewell to so many beloved celebrities — including many who have passed way before their time.

Multiple generations of TV fans felt the terrible pang of grief when 90210 and Riverdale star Luke Perry died at just 52 years old after a sudden stroke. And Nipsey Hussle‘s tragic shooting death sent shockwaves through the world of entertainment that are likely to be felt for years to come. The Grammy-nominated rapper was only 33.
Of course, we can’t even begin to describe the tremendous loss of rising star Cameron Boyce, who died at the tender age of 20.
Sadly, those just a few of the names on our lengthy list of celebs who left us way too soon.
