This is so incredibly sad.
The news anchor Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward who were shot and killed by a disgruntled former employee of the news station were both romantically involved with coworkers.
Ward was engaged to a producer at the station, Melissa Ott, and today was actually going to be his last day on the job as the couple planned to move to Charlotte.

Parker was secretly dating Chris Hurst, anchor for the station, who revealed their relationship this morning on Twitter in a series of sad and heartbreaking tweets. He said:
We didn’t share this publicly, but @AParkerWDBJ7 and I were very much in love. We just moved in together. I am numb. pic.twitter.com/tUrHVwAXcN

This is so incredibly tragic. We can’t imagine what their loved ones are going through but our hearts are with them during this difficult time.
