Although she’s been doing well on the show, ESPN reporter Erin Andrews has been getting shiz from her colleagues for appearing on Dancing With the Stars.
She’s been romantically linked with her dancing partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy (she denies it!) and even testified against that freak who secretly taped her nude in three hotel rooms.
We just wonder why she’s taking all the heat!
A fellow female sports reporter said that Erin is “made a fool out of herself and a sham of her profession” by appearing on the show.
Toronto Star reporter Rosie DiManno wrote:
“I want to grab Andrews by the shoulders and shout: ‘What are you thinking, woman?!’
I’m appalled by the damage she is doing to her profession and her own reputation as a journalist — a term albeit used lightly in the realm of sports.
Andrews — daughter of an investigative TV reporter in Tampa — is no bimbo, though her sideline features are more popcorn than insightful. But this ‘DWTS’ is colossally unwise.
But Erin doesn’t understand the criticism – and neither do we!
“I’m not sure what damage I created for myself,” said Andrews. “What am I doing to be a bimbo? I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong.”
It could be WAY worse!
“People say, ‘How do you expect to be taken seriously?'” she continued. “I’m basically killing myself to not embarrass myself. I’ve been in the top three in scoring each week, behind an athlete and a professional dancer and singer.”
At least she’s not Kate Gosselin!
