A dog was found and subsequently rescued along a creek in South Carolina, but it might have been the dog who was doing all the rescuing.
The dog was nursing a kitten at the bottom of an embarkment near the creek, and is believed to have been there with the kitty cat for at least two days!
Here’s what the animal control officer wrote in her report:
“This is one example of why I love my job.”
The dog and kitten are together now, and the doggy is keeping the kitten clean and well fed.
The animal control department hope that the dog owner will come forward to claim the pup, and adopt the kitten, as well.
Because who could separate these two now?!
So amazing!!
