Researchers at Wake Forest University’s Institute of Regenerative Medicine have been able to produce “fully functional replacement penises” for rabbits from their own body tissue!

And good news too!
The researchers believe the study in which fake rabbit wangs were replicated could be translated to human penises, stating the technology “has considerable potential for patients requiring penile construction,” according to the study in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
The bunny boners were constructed from a mix of cells from the rabbits, forming a functional “corpus cavernosa” in which the test rabbits were able to have sex, ejaculate and four bunnies even became baby daddies!

The only disconcerting aspect?
According to the study, “all rabbits with bioengineered neocorpora attempted copulation within one minute of introduction.”
Let’s hope the results aren’t the same for humans!
