ABC just sold the rights to air Revenge to U.K. broadcaster Channel 4’s E4 digital channel.
The channel’s demographic is “edgy youth,” which is, apparently, a demo that likes to see rich New Yorkers torture each other.
Channel 4 head of acquisitions Gill Hay described the “primetime soap” as a:
“Delicious guilty pleasure encompassing all the money, power and privilege of the Hamptons and a young woman set on revenge.”
Totes agree with Gill! Revenge is certainly a guilty pleasure of ours.
We hope the Brits and Irish find the show as wonderfully ridiculous as we do!
