Richard Hatch, the Survivor champion, has to survive a whole less hospitable location than a jungle with a camera crew — he Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
A few days ago, Richard was locked up and the key was thrown away to start his 9 month “life vacation,” as we call it, for not paying the taxes on his $1 million prize from Survivor.
Apparently he couldn’t raise enough money to pay off the debt between his time on Celebrity Apprentice and his jail date, because now he’s in the clink from April 29 to December 12, 2011, unless something weird happens. Like a Shawshank kind of escape.
Should have figured out a way to pay it years ago! Whomp whomp!
