Mommyhood has really made Nicole Richie a more giving person!
Paris Hilton‘s former BFF is teaming up with other celebs for a good cause.
Nicole, along with Anna Getty, Amy Smart, and Rosario Dawson, are doing their part to improve the environment and help keep schools green.
Richie and crew are helping the Environmental Media Association, who’s teamed up with the Los Angeles Unified School District to bring organic gardens and goodies to urban schools.
With the partnership, schools will receive additional funds and will also be gifted with “celebrity mentoring” through EMA’s Young Hollywood Board.
Other celeb mentors are said to include members of Maroon 5, Matthew Rhys and Maria Menounos.
Nicole attended an event for the program on Tuesday in El Lay.
