Rick Ross dealt with millions of dollars worth of cocaine each day back in the mid-1980’s when he was controlling thousands of workers as a drug dealer.
In 1995 he was sentenced to life in prison for attempting to purchase over 100 kilos of cocaine!
Well he was released from prison in 2006 and has tried to reclaim his name from rapper Rick Ross (real name William Leonard Roberts II), who signed a multimillion dollar deal that year “based on his image and likeness as a drug dealer.”
Now the real Rick Ross is going after rapper Rick Ross, Def Jam, Universal and others who are profiting off of his name while he was in jail. He has sent cease-and-desist letters to Def Jam which were ignored so he plans to sue.
We think someone is looking for a pretty big payday now that he’s out of the clink!
