We’re just going to say it.
This could have felt forced and stoopid, and it ended up being one of the BEST and most genuinely HIGHlarious moments that the show has had in quite some time.

They couldn’t have done it any more perfectly, as far as we’re concerned!
And we’re not sure about you, but we took his last little exchange with Steve Carrell‘s Michael Scott as a HUGE, possibly game-changing hint as to who might be filling his shoes come this season’s end!
It would certainly make sense with the hint given HERE!
