As if everyone isn’t panicked enough!
Ridley Scott has signed on to work on a limited Fox TV series, along with Lynda Obst about the Ebola outbreak!
The duo was already working on the series, which is based on Richard Preston‘s The Hot Zone, and now that it’s topical, it’s definitely happening.
Scott is only signed on for the first episode, reportedly, but if he’s already put over a year’s worth of time into it, we’re sure he’ll stay on.

This whole concept was supposed to be a movie starring Jodie Foster in 1995, but Outbreak was released and the idea was scrapped.
Now, all of the world is listening to things Ebola related. In fact, Preston is writing an article for the New Yorker next week, and to keep the project authentic, some of the report will be used in the show!
Will you be watching???
