Every writer needs a muse, and for Mindy Kaling and the writers on staff at The Mindy Kaling Project that muse is a pop star from Barbados!
During a reception on Saturday that was held for her new sitcom‘s fall premiere, the former The Office star confessed that when her script is in a hopeless place she finds inspiration from Rihanna!
Mindy admits that in her writer’s room:
“Rihanna is a big favorite. Whatever the reason the guys on my staff can get behind it. They think she’s just super hot and intimidating. I can listen … and feel inspired by it because everyone is into it.”
We feel you gurl!
