Rihanna is music royalty, no doubt.
But the R&B songstress may have committed Instagram treason with her inappropriate — but hilarious — use of Queen Elizabeth II‘s likeness!
The singer clearly had the Queen on the brain on Sunday, and decided to give her a shoutout by photoshopping the monarch’s head onto pictures of her own racy, high fashion outfits.
RIHlated: RiRi & Drake Have An Awkward Reunion
The first photo showed the 91-year-old edited onto an all green outfit with a fur coat and over-the-knee boots. Another pic showed the Queen rocking RiRi’s Yves Saint Laurent red fur coat over denim shorts and black high heels.
The racier of the edited pics featured the Britain native’s face on one of the stills from the singer’s Paper magazine spread, which showed her showing off some sideboob in a Chanel suit.
Another of RiRi’s photoshops saw the royal dressed in the crystal Gucci bodysuit (above) that the R&B star wore to Coachella last week. She originally referenced a lyric from Drake and Gucci Mane‘s song Both in the caption, writing:
“Cause u fuck like a [grandma] fuck, u just a amateur.”
Thankfully, Rihanna later changed her caption to something less incriminating.
While most users thought the photoshop job was funny, some commenters insisted the face swap was disrespectful, writing in the comments:
“Its rude you know. This is not funny. She’s someone’s grandma. Imagine if its yours.”
We don’t think Rihanna cares too much about what common internet peasants have to say, especially since she posted a brand new edit to IG on Monday:
Unless Prince Harry himself steps in, we have a feeling these photos are staying up. Plus, who’s to say the Queen wouldn’t be down to rock a high fashion look like this?
Do U think the photos are too much? Ch-ch-check em out (below)!
