In 2012, Rihanna will sink millions of moviegoers’ battleships with her role in the aptly named film adaptation of the immortal board game, Battleship.
Unlike the board game, which involved battleships fighting other battleships, the film will center around an alien invasion. Assisting Rihanna with her task of saving the world will be True Blood star Alexander Skarsgård, and actor Taylor Kitsch.
We take comfort in the knowledge that Rihanna is out there protecting us from aliens. As soon as the hostile visitors hear her voice, no battleships will be necessary, because the aliens will be too busy negotiating a contract to collaborate with her.
