It’s no secret that the upcoming Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro won’t be the most glamorous event in recent years.
Sure, the developing Brazilian city offers beautiful coastlines and near perfect weather, but there are also dangers lurking around every corner!
If the half a million athletes, workers, and spectators attending the games aren’t worried about stumbling across human remains, they’re worrying about drinking the city’s highly contaminated water, or even being kidnapped by men posing as police!
Based on recent reports, we hope the athletes stay inside their rooms at all times between competitions — because losing out on a gold medal is by far the least tragic thing that can happen at the Rio Olympics…
