R.I.P.

Shiloh Pepin, known to the public as “Mermaid Girl”, passed away this weekend in Portland, Maine.
She was only 10-years-old.
So sad.
Pepin was born with a condition called sirenomelia, in which she was born with her legs fused together with no lower colon, genital organs and only one working kidney.
Shiloh, who doctors believed would only live for a few days after her birth, had become a media darling in recent years, appearing on both TLC and The Oprah Winfrey Show, explaining the trials of her condition.
Our thoughts are with Shiloh’s family and friends.
