With the deal falling through to sell the division to Chinese equipment maker Tengzhong, General Motors’ Hummer brand is being discontinued.

Current owners of the gas-guzzlers will still have their warranties honored by GM, but unless a very quick sale is arranged Hummer will be history.

Hummer is the second GM division after Saturn that didn’t sell as planned.

Bummer.
