So tragic!
Caresse Henry, Madonna‘s former manager from 1997-2005, has died of a suspected suicide, PerezHilton.com has confirmed.
Involved in both Ray of Light and Music, Henry was a creative force in Madonna’s professional life working as her manager – and she was also once Madonna’s personal assistant.
Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones.
On a personal note, we never had the opportunity to meet Caresse but we did speak with her on the phone last year about a business opportunity and she shared with us that she had been reading our site since we started blogging back in 2004. AND, Henry also reminded us of how hard times were for us back then, when – broke and with little income – we asked our kind readers for donations. She told us that she had given us money back then and we were humbled and touched by her instantly. That is the kind and generous person that she was, her friends tell us. They are all shocked and crushed.
So very sad.
