Tragic! He had so much waiting for him!
Siphiwo Ntshebe, a South African Tenor who was selected to sing the official anthem at the World Cup, has sadly died after suffering from acute bacterial meningitis.
Reports say that the young man contracted the disease about a week ago and was quickly taken to a hospital in Port Elizabeth for treatment. Sadly, there was nothing to be done.
Siphiwo would have had the great honor of singing Hope at the World Cup this June at the event’s opening ceremony. He has also just finished recording an album for Epic Records, that was slated to be released after his performance.
Very sad. We send all of our condolences this his family and friends. We’re very sorry for your loss.
