Shy Bladder Groups Exist And They're SO MAD Rob Lowe Made Fun Of Them!

Rob Lowe is one of the smoothest, most handsome men this side of the Mississippi!
But Painfully Awkward Rob Lowe is just kinda… well, painfully awkward.
The two Robs walk us through a DirecTV commercial, showing us how much better DirecTV & normal Rob are than basic cable and awkward Rob. Awkward Rob is the worst! He’s afraid of everything!
He can’t even “go when other people are in the room.” The commercial actually shows him standing at a urinal, unable to pee. Sadly, there was no full-frontal shot. LOLz!

Steven Soifer, a social work professor at the University of Memphis, is the CEO of International Paruresis Association, basically a shy bladder association.
He actually took offense to this, having a shy bladder himself. He said:

“We don’t mind if people have a little fun with it. It’s a situation that a lot of people don’t understand. In this particular case, the portrayal is making it look ridiculous, that this guy is a loser for having a problem. What if he didn’t have a leg or an arm? Are you going to make fun of them?”

Wow, honestly we never would’ve even thought that this commercial would be offensive, but when explained to us, we totally understand.
Rob though? He thinks people need to “lighten up” and said, jokingly:

“For those wondering, my bladder is gregarious.”

Do you think its an overreaction or is he justified in his anger?
