But we wish he was!
Rob Lowe, an actor with a wild, hard partying past of his own, has reached out to his good friend Charlie Sheen in an effort to bring him to sobriety.
Unfortunately for those who truly care about Charlie, Rob shared in a recent interview that the former Two and a Half Men star is “not interested” in his help.
When asked about his friendship with the entire Sheen family and the Charlie’s troubling situation, Rob responded:
“The Sheen family was that family we all have in our lives. Every Christmas you’re going to go visit, that was that family for me. I see things a bit differently maybe because of that and then I have the almost 21 years of sobriety, I look at it differently. I love Charlie deeply, always have. I’ve always wanted him to be healthy, happy and together. But he’s doing it his way for better or worse. I say, ‘Charlie come my way.’ He doesn’t want to. (Laughs) To put it mildly, he’s not interested.”
Such a shame! We are really hoping Charlie can put all of this “warlock” nonsense behind him one day and get back on the right track.
