After being with Geffen Records for 18 years, Rob Zombie is leaving the label and moving on to Roadrunner Records.
Zombie claims that Geffen didn’t give him enough time to promote his new album, Hellbilly Deluxe 2, before it’s November 9th release. We think he might be right because it’s the first we’ve heard of it.
Under Roadrunner the album will hit shelves sometime next year giving the rocker ample time to get the word out.
Zombie says:
“It certainly wasn’t an easy decision to make after all this time, but it had to be done. I love this new record and wanted to surround myself with an excited new group of people who can reignite my enthusiasm for working within a hard rock record label. Roadrunner seems to be the perfect place.”
Sometimes change is a good thing!
