This means the 50-year-old’s criminal record is officially wiped clean!
In case you didn’t know, the thespian was repeatedly arrested in the 90s for drug-related crimes. He served a total of two years and eight months in jail, and completed his parole in 2002.
In October, the New York native received an order from a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge, who believes he has “lived an honest and upright life, exhibited good moral character, and conducted himself as a law-abiding citizen.”
The pardon reads:

“By completion of his sentence and good conduct in the community of his residence since his release, Robert John Downey, Jr. has paid his debt to society and earned a full and unconditional pardon.”

Most of the people who were forgiven had minor drug offenses that are no longer felonies under California law.
Congratulations to RDJ!
