Robert Pattinson Shares HILARIOUS Response To Fan Who Asked Why He Quit Acting After Twilight

Robert Pattinson is stealing Michael Keaton‘s line.

The 38-year-old opened up to the New York Times on Wednesday about a hilarious and bewildering encounter he had with a fan at an airport. It came during a trip to St. Vincent and the Grenadines with fiancée Suki Waterhouse when an immigration officer recognized him — but clearly not for any of his recent work. He recalled her asking:

“Hey, you’re the guy from Twilight. Why’d you stop acting?”

Uhhh, what?! Where has she been?! LOLz!

But Robert took it on the chin and channeled words made famous first by Michael Keaton to remind her that he’s now ANOTHER iconic creature of the dark… The Caped Crusader:

“I was like… ‘I’m Batman?’”

HA!

Robert may have spent several years doing obscure indie movies, but a couple years ago he made the leap back into blockbusters with 2022’s The Batman. Apparently this fan missed it! In response, the father of one noted “she just laughed.”
